Girl’s Varsity Basketball Announcement:
Yesterday the Lady Mustangs Basketball team continued their tear through the league beating DePaolo MS for the second time this season, this time by the score 45-24. Moran had a well-balanced offense with Dempsy Lajoie leading the charge recording her first double/double of the season scoring 10pts with 10 rebounds. Following closely behind her were Hayleigh Lagase, Julianna Fazzino, and Caitlyn Hunt each with 9pts, Maddyson Horobin 6pts, and Sydney Rossacci with 2pts. Hayleigh Lagase, Caitlyn Hunt, Julianna Fazzino, Jayna MacKenzie, and Sydney Rossacci combined for 13 assists in the game.

On the Defensive Side of the court, Hayleigh Lagase, Dempsey Lajoie, Caitlyn Hunt, and Maddyson Horobin combined for 31 rebounds. Caitlyn Hunt also had 4 blocks in in the game.

The girls’ team extended their unbeaten streak to 20 games from last season and remain undefeated this season with a record of 10 wins and 0 losses. Come out and support your Lady Mustangs at their next game this Friday when they play at home against Dodd MS of Cheshire. GOOD LUCK
