Lady Mustangs Varsity Game Results:
Yesterday the Lady Mustangs Basketball team rebounded from their Friday loss by defeating Washington MS by the score of 58-10. Leading all scorers in the game was Maddie Larkin with 9pts followed by Macey Sundwall 8pts, Julianna Fazzino and Maddyson Horobin each with 7pts, Crystal Gallagher and Caroline Dighello each with 6pts, Caitlyn Hunt 5pts, Sarina Kapoor and Mia Mills each with 4pts, and Jayna MacKenzie with 2pts. On the defensive end of the court, Caitlyn Hunt and Macey Sundwall combined for 12 rebounds and Maddie Larkin had 3 steals.

The Lady Mustangs Varsity team goes into the holiday break with a record of 1 win and 1 loss

Lady Mustangs JV Results:
The girls JV team continues to dominate their opponents and remain undefeated as they beat Washington by the score of 17-2. Scoring for the Lady Mustangs was Jocelyn Petrillo with 6pts, Julianna Fazzino 3pts, and Caitlyn Hunt, Jayna MacKenzie, Dempsey Lajoie, and Sydney Rossacci each with 2pts. On the defensive end of the court, Dempsey Lajoie, Mia Mills, and Sydney Rossacci combined for 14 rebounds.

The next game for the Lady Mustangs is January 11, at home against Lincoln MS.

Varsity Game Results:
On Friday the Lady Mustangs basketball team suffered their first loss in over a year by losing a close game to Dodd MS of Cheshire by the score of 36-38.

Leading all scorers in the game was Maddie Larkin with 18pts along with 10 rebounds Macey Sundwall scored 8pts, Sarina Kapoor 4pts, and Crystal Gallagher, Caroline Dighello and Hayleigh Lagase each with 2pts.

JV Game Results:
The Lady Mustangs JV team won their season opener by shutting out Dodd MS of Cheshire by the score of 12-0.

Leading the way for the Lady Mustangs was Dempsy Lajoie with 4pts followed by Julianna Fazzino, Caitlyn Hunt, Maddyson Horobin, and Jayna MacKenzie each with 2pts. Others playing well in the game were Mia Mills and Sydney Rossacci.

Your boys basketball team suffered its first divisional game vs Dodd of Cheshire on Friday in the home gym. The defense let the offense down by giving up 69 points. Derek van Steenburgh led the Mustangs with 12 points, 9 boards and 1 blocked shot. Garrett Molampy scored 8 on 4 for 9 shooting. Xavier Jagrosse came off the bench and also scored 8. Tyler Carmen had a super game guarding a very tough point guard.

The Boys are home today, Monday vs Washington of Meriden

The Boys basketball team opened the 2015-2016 season last week at Edison Magnet School in Meriden….The Mustangs came out strong against a younger, less experienced squad opening a 22-6 first quarter score. Co Captain Garrett Molampy had 11 first quarter points.

Co Captain Jack Mc Donnell, finished with 10 points and9 rebounds. Joe Scala added 6 out of his 8 points in the second, when Moran put the game out of reach.

In the JV game, Tim Body led the squad with 8 points in a 23-12 win….
