Boys Basketball Results

The boy’s basketball team suffered their first loss of the season yesterday falling to Dodd of Cheshire by a score of 72-34. The boys faced a tough and talented Dodd team that came out shooting well and took an early lead and were able to build on it throughout the game. Moran was unable to overcome the hot shooting of Dodd, the high number of turnovers and also had to suffer through the loss of Luke Rutkowski to an ankle injury early in the game, which hurt the Mustangs on both the offensive and defensive end of the court. Isaiah Hernandez led all Moran scorers with 9 points and 11 rebounds, while Zach Zubeckis scored 7. Before his injury in the first 10 minutes of the game, Luke Rutkowski scored 7 points and pulled down 7 rebounds. The Moran Boys record is now 3-1.
